It is self-fertile for this reason it needs pollinators such as Carolea and Giarraffa.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, <strong>the olives are harvested by hand<\/strong> to ensure the highest quality. The harvest takes place in the months of <strong>October<\/strong> and <strong>November<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Biancolilla organic extra virgin olive oil is considered <strong>very valuable<\/strong> and is very suitable for sale. By pressing the olives of this cultivar, an oil is obtained that contains all the typical flavors of the Sicilian food tradition.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Green or straw yellow in color with vaguely golden hues<\/strong>, this oil is in fact characterized by a light, slightly spicy and very aromatic fruitiness in which the fragrances of almond, tomato and artichoke are perceived combined with flavors of fresh grass and green olive<\/p>\n<p>The polyphenol content is high and therefore the consumption of this oil favors the reduction of the risk of cardiovascular diseases, while the high content of <strong>highly digestible fats<\/strong> favors the reduction of cholesterol and blood sugar.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Our Sicilian extra virgin olive oil is certified organic and 100% Made in Italy<\/strong>.
