{"id":2012,"date":"2022-02-28T10:07:49","date_gmt":"2022-02-28T09:07:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/oleificiobioagliata.it\/?post_type=product&#038;p=2012"},"modified":"2022-09-06T10:40:19","modified_gmt":"2022-09-06T09:40:19","slug":"extra-virgin-olive-oil-classic","status":"publish","type":"product","link":"https:\/\/oleificiobioagliata.it\/en\/extra-virgin-olive-oil-classic\/","title":{"rendered":"Classic"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Classic is an <strong>organic extra virgin olive oil<\/strong> that comes from a blend of <strong>precious Sicilian cultivars<\/strong> wisely selected by our oil master.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Nocellara del Belice<\/strong> represents a very valuable cultivar and is, among the Sicilian indigenous varieties, probably one of the most esteemed ever, so much so that in 1998 it obtained the DOP certification (protected designation of origin).<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Nocellara Etnea<\/strong>, typical of central-eastern Sicily, easily recognizable by its expanded posture and particularly dense foliage.<\/p>\n<p>The <strong>Biancolilla cultivar<\/strong> typical of central-western Sicily has a vigorous plant resistant to winter frosts, it differs from the others for the change in color of the fruit, from the round shape, at the time of ripening. It is self-fertile for this reason it needs pollinators such as <strong>Carolea<\/strong> and <strong>Giarraffa<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Traditionally, the olives are harvested by hand to ensure the highest quality. The harvest takes place in the months of October and November.<\/p>\n<p>With low acidity. Intense taste and unique aroma with persistent hints of artichoke and almond, with an intense green color.<\/p>\n<p>The <em>polyphenol content<\/em> is high and therefore the consumption of this oil favors the reduction of the risk of cardiovascular diseases, while the high content of <strong>highly digestible fats favors<\/strong> the reduction of cholesterol and blood sugar.<\/p>\n<p>Our <strong>Sicilian extra virgin olive oil<\/strong> is certified <strong>organic and 100% Made in Italy<\/strong>. It is produced with the precious Nocellara Etnea, Biancolilla, Carolea Giarraffa and Moresca cultivars in the <strong>territory of Caltanissetta<\/strong>, on a property of 13,000 trees that extends over about 45 hectares of olive groves.<\/p>\n<p>We bring a unique Sicilian extra virgin olive oil to your table!
